We are proud to share that this was our most successful Domestic Violence Awareness Month campaign to-date, reaching more of the Tri-County community than ever before. We couldn't do this important work without you - our amazing supporters and sponsors - and want to say THANK YOU for your dedication to My Sister's House.

In October, 2022 My Sister's House was honored to present Speak Up South Carolina 2022: Stories of Survival, a domestic violence awareness and advocacy campaign elevating first-person testimonies from Lowcountry domestic violence survivors.

Throughout the campaign, we shined a spotlight on the survivors themselves, and provided a platform for them to share their stories. Survivors of domestic violence in their childhood homes, survivors of physical, mental, emotional, and verbal abuse, survivors who sought support and struggled to overcome systemic barriers – every story held vital lessons for advocates, partners, and providers.

Though the 2022 campaign is complete, we are proud to share event recordings, photos, and overviews below. If you or your business is interested in supporting our Speak Up South Carolina 2023 campaign, please contact Hallie Smith, Development Officer, at Hallie@MySistersHouse.com
