This full-time position coordinates therapeutic counseling services for adult and child victims/witnesses of domestic violence. Conducts assessments of parent and child; conducts individual and group therapy sessions. Provides intake, crisis intervention, and victim advocacy to adults and children as needed. Facilitates staff trainings on adult and child mental health. Facilitates bi-monthly children’s program volunteer trainings. Directly supervises Masters level interns. On call one week every seven weeks. The position requires some late afternoon/evening hours until 10pm.
This is a grant-funded position with a pay range of 35K-40K based on experience.
- Graduate degree in counseling, psychology, social work or closely related field
- LPC, LPC-I, LISW, LMSW or Ph. D preferred
- At least 3 years of experience working with victims/witnesses of trauma
- Ability to work cooperatively with a professional team of case managers, a part-time therapist, and advocates
